Vanquish Lands on PC Alongside New Dev Diary Video

You can now play Vanquish on PC, and Sega has a new dev diary that explains how the game came to be, and why director Shinji Mikami wanted to make it.

Today is the day that PC gamers finally get to play Vanquish. The game was originally released on PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2010, and gamers have been waiting for a PC version ever since. Platinum began teasing the release shortly after it brought Bayonetta to PC, starting with announcing the game [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/170196-Bayonetta-PC-Update-May-Be-Teasing-PC-Version-of-Vanquish].

Alongside that release, there's a new developer diary video as well. It features the original Vanquish developers talking about everything from Sam's slide boosters to dancing robots.

The PC port of Vanquish has plenty of bells and whistles, from unlocked frame rates and 4K support to anti-aliasing, anistropic filtering, SSAO lighting, scalables texture and shadow quality. It also includes support for mouse and keyboard, as well as controllers.

Vanquish is available on Steam [http://store.steampowered.com/app/460810/Vanquish/] now. It will run you $19.99.
