Sony Announces a Limited Edition Destiny 2 Glacier White PS4 Pro Bundle

The Destiny 2 beta [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/170704-Destiny-2-Open-Beta-Starts-in-Two-Weeks-New-Trailer] is kicking off a week from tomorrow (July 18), and Sony has revealed a new Glacier White PS4 Pro bundle that will include the game and more.

The bundle will include a Glacier White PS4 Pro with a 1 TB hard drive, a matching DualShock 4 controller, and Destiny 2. Also included is a code for the Expansion Pass and premium digital content.

As has been previously announced, PS4 owners will get access to Destiny 2 bonus content before any other platform. That includes a competitive multiplayer map, and three-person co-op Strike, a new ship, a specialized gear set, and an exclusive exotic weapon.

I was all disappointed at my hastiness until there wasn't a Destiny skin on there.

Wow. While I did preorder Destiny 2, and am very much prepared to be disappointed, annoyed and infuriated all over again, this "Limited Edition" looks like a letdown from the get-go.

1. It looks like it comes with a copy of Destiny 2 - we've all preordered the game already, And we're all done buying multiple copies of a Bungie title. Won't happen ever again.

2. There is no Destiny theme at all. It's just white plastic.

Sure, it will sell. To the late-to-the-party hardcore Destiny fan that has been in a coma for the past months.

...and the scalpers who will try to rip off the folks willing to pay $1000 once these are sold out.

Finally Sony decides to do some communication around the Pro! Because until now, there have been very few ads around and very few offers; It was always the slim that was the most emphasized. It is important that Sony communicates a minimum around the Pro because the larger the console park, the more developers will make versions that hold the road.
