Here Are the First Seven Hearthstone Cards From the Knights of the Frozen Throne Expansion

Blizzard announced the next expansion for Hearthstone earlier this month. Titled Knights of the Frozen Throne [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/170705-Next-Hearthstone-Expansion-Announced-Knights-of-the-Frozen-Throne], the expansion will add 135 new cards, including some legendary cards that will turn your heroes into Death Knights.

The new expansion will also introduce the Lifesteal mechanic. This new addition will heal you for the same amount of damage it deals on a turn. You can also expect to see new Deathrattle effects.

As is usually the case, Blizzard is revealing cards in small batches. So far, we've seen seven of the new cards, and you can see them below. We'll be rounding up the new announcements every few days, so stay tuned for more.

Knights of the Frozen Throne is due to launch sometime in August.

So let's see what the two new additions we have here. Rogue Card Plague Scientist, looks okay statwise but the fact it's effect is based off a combo that requires another minion on the board to work will likely mean it won't see much General play. Especially as playing Cobra instead would be a better alternative. Though for arena it could be pretty useful.

Ticking Abomination, 0.0 that deathrattle doe. I'm not even sure if the stats on it are worth giving up potentially two turns of minion placement to that deathrattle considering how much removal people have available at turn 5. Paladin and Priest might play it just to buff up an early big body on the board but other than that it just seems like a cruel card.
