So did I man, I've watched that show again so many times now.

Always been thankful for the Escapist for giving Shanks a kick off because he's done some really, really, good things after Doomsday arcade.

He also was on a Dnd podcast recently
D&D is for nerds: Buried beneath It's full of laughs.
[small]He's only been in the buried beneath one so far and they're stand alone stories so it's a good starting point.[/small]

Hell, some of them still HAVE shows going: Extra Credits still has content and even does a show called Extra History. History of Smite is still going as far as I know, and I could even point you in the direction of another site that (while it DEFINITELY has it's problems) still releases great content. Channel Awesome. I could also direct you toward the Basterd Brothers, NicoB, KZX, Gaijin Goombah, Dice Funk, (If you're hungry for a show that has a story and is D&D based) Rocked Reviews, Comic/Mangastorian, Shinta Reviews (HIGHLY Recommended, this show is how I first learned in detail about Kamen Rider! Basically, you like Power Rangers, but wish it was darker, and had more a focus on story and AMAZING fighting? This is the show for you.), Renegade Media Group (They actually have some good stuff.), Double Toasted has some great stuff as well, Although I would say listen to their Sound Cloud if you want all the shows, and of course, a personal favorite that is not only still ongoing and with a story, Atop The Fourth Wall, a comic review show. Let me know if any of you want the link to ANY of these shows.

Which was made by the wonderful people of Loading Ready Run.
A group that is going from strength to strength after leaving The Escapist.
They stopped doing regular sketch work, and ENN (Escapist News Network, which sort of has been followed up by Checkpoint. Not so much parody videogame news, just regular videogame news with comedy commentary).

They have their own Youtube channel where they regularly post content: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCwjN2uVdL9A0i3gaIHKFzuA
Checkpoint (gaming news), Feed Dump (which was started here, and still going strong) and Crapshots (short sketches) among many other thing.
Their main thing now is their Twitch channel: https://www.twitch.tv/loadingreadyrun
Content might be a bit spotty this week and next week as they are moving to a new location.
They save all their Twitch content on their other Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCpvugL8Qxc8-aXlO0KUtXXQ

And there is a LOT more that they do. Desert Bus For Hope (yearly event in which they play one of the worst games ever made for charity). A lot of the LRR crew have their own Twitch channels on which they also stream, Cori Heather and Kate also have GhostWatch2016, in which they go through Kamen Rider episodes: http://www.ghostwatch2016.xyz/
And just a lot more.
And making even more, thanks to the support of the fans. Trust me, if you want a post-Escapist success story, look at LRR.

Heck, looking at Loading Ready Run, it quite surprises me that Yahtzee is still with The Escapist. I think he would get a LOT more income going the same route as Loading Ready Run. Just start a Twitch channel and do streams.
I guess The Escapist owns the ZP name licence, so he can't go independent with that, and that is sort of his identifying brand. Maybe he's just sitting out his contract, possibly waiting for The Escapist to go bust so that he can get the ownership of ZP back.

Although we'll never know exactly why other than the contract running out and LRR going out on their own to do the 10th season of sketches whilst keeping some content of the escapist. I've always though it was brilliant timing on their behalf as such their fans already had migrated some part away from the escapist when they started getting rid of everyone in 2015. I always wondered how much they smelt which way the wind was blowing.

I do miss the sketches in their content though....

Oh sweet, he actually did other stuff? Given he seemed to be doing pretty much everything for Doomsday Arcade and still pulling it off it would have been a shame if that was all he'd ended up doing

This has got me all nostalgic for the days when the Escapist had content :(
