ME3 is the game that should be breaking sales records, not CoD.

Glad to see it's doing well.

I only didn't like the ending, the rest of the game was spectacular. It really depressed me, I can't play that game again.
I agree with this, unless they release some DLC to fix the ending, there's no point to ever replay Mass Effect again. And I would probably never have invested time in the story and characters, if I knew about it earlier.

If Bioware thinks this is the best game they've made, it's kind of sad.

Good.

I haven't stopped playing it since yesterday, it's absolutely brilliant.

Even if the end is rumoured to be disappointing, It will still be one of my favourite game franchises of all time.

The Dark Tower series didn't end very well either, the journey to the end is still brilliant though.
Problem is, bad endings aren't necessarily disappointing.
War of the Spider Queen ends with one person of the original team alive, one ascended to godhood, and everyone else dead. I don't count Valas who was sane enough to quit the quest before conclusion, as he would've died too. Pharaun reduced to a single finger and his ring, Ryld gutted by draegloth, draegloth poisoned and smacked to death by Quenthel, and Quenthel living the rest of her days in shame and regretting that she survived. Halisstra transformed into a creature of never-ending pain and torment on service of Lolth...

Gruesome, sad and demoralizing ending, but I liked it a lot. It also answers questions and leaves some open ones for future books to explore.

But this shit?
Mass Relays destroyed, Normandy and crew stranded, Shepard dies alone or lives on his dying planet, FTL travel exists but takes years or decades to travel to other races, Quarians that aren't on Rannoch will never see their home planet again, and they + Turians will starve to death before finding a source of food that they can digest without an allergic reaction and death. Krogans, Wrex included, never return to Tuchanka. Nothing is explained, especially the shit God-Child AI said...

I don't know, the review bombers obviously give unfair scores (0s?, seriously?), but they actually have very valid concerns over the player's ability to affect change in the game. I'm not buying it, not until I can pick it up out of a value bin.

The only reason these numbers took so long was that Garrus had to work on his calibrations to ensure they were accurate

If there was day one DLC to make the end fit with the rest of the 100s of hrs of game play then i would buy that :p.

They did not even have to change all that much to make the endings work ( see fallout 3 for reference on how to fix it for very little money )
