Sony details their Playstation 3 launch plans in Europe.
Sony has released revealed the date and price for the PlayStation 3 when it launches in Europe.
The 60 gigabyte SKU will retail at £424.99 (?642, $837) on March 23, with no 20 gigabyte version available. One million units will be shipped within the "launch period," typically the first two to four months a new system is on store shelves. Accompanying accessories have been priced, such as the SIXAXIS controllers at £34.99 (?53.85, $70), Blu-Ray remote controls for £17.99 (?26.93, $35) and HDMI cables for £17.99 (?26.93, $35).
Thirty titles will fill the launch lineup, including both both DVD and downloadable games: Resistance: Fall of Man, MotorStorm, Genji: Days of the Blade, Formula One Championship Edition, Ridge Racer 7, Tekken: Dark Resurrection, Lemmings, Go! Sudoku, Go! Puzzle, Blast Factor, flOw, Super Rub?a'Dub, Call of Duty 3, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, Tony Hawk?s Project 8, Gundam ?
