Career Discovery Teaches Kids How to Enter the Game Industry

Evergreen Events is announcing a series of educational events called "Career Discovery," focusing on careers in the game industry. Each event will cover a different vocation. The first of these events will be held March 24 in Bellevue, WA.

The Career Discovery Series focuses on middle and high school students and will feature sessions led by industry experts all throughout the day-long event.

The key speakers at the "Career Discovery 1: Careers in the Game Industry" event are as follows:

Michael Austin and Mark Terrano from Hidden Path Entertainment, Nelson Brown and Kevin Chung from Amaze Entertainment, Christopher Erhardt from the DigiPen Institute of Technology, Jess Lebow from Flying Lab Software, Chris Taylor from Gas Powered Games, Robin Walker from Valve, and John Williamson from Zombie Studios.
