British Lego House Smashed To Bits
After searching for a potential buyer for months, a British house constructed entirely of Lego blocks has been demolished in a hail of multicolored plastic.
The two-story structure was originally built for the BBC series James May's Toy Stories and despite being constructed from children's building blocks included functional plumbing and a full-sized staircase.
Yes, that means the toilet was made out of Legos.
Sadly, it would seem that not even whimsically colorful real estate is immune to the global financial crisis, and the structure went without an owner for nearly three months before the order came down to smash it to bits.
The Lego corporation has reclaimed the bricks used in the home and intends to use them in future "charity builds."
