Peter Molyneux Announced As Keynote Speaker At Enterprising Games Week

Renowned game designer Peter Molyneux has been tapped as the keynote speaker at the Enterprising Games Week event, a conference intended to focus on the use of games in areas outside the "traditional games arena."

The Enterprising Games Week conference is a two-day event scheduled to take place June 27-28 at the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA [http://www.riba.org/go/RIBA/Home.html]) in Portland Place, in London. The event is "dedicated to the use of games in areas other than the traditional games industry and providing an insight into the creative and business innovations arising from games, web 2.0 and virtual worlds techniques and AI technologies and their applicability across the digital content landscape: brands, learning and planning."

Peter Molyneux has gained near-legendary status in the game industry as the founder of both Bullfrog Productions and Lionhead Studios [http://www.lionhead.com/]. He is particularly well-known for his "god games," and has many highly-regarded games to his credit, including Populous, Syndicate, Magic Carpet, Dungeon Keeper, Black & White, and The Movies.

He is scheduled to speak on the use of artificial intelligence in entertainment, media, and "serious games." Along with Molyneux, other speakers will include Nader Nanjiani speaking about Ambient Performance [http://www.cisco.com/], who will discuss "social media."

Further details can be found at the official Enterprising Games website [http://www.enterprising-games.com/].
