Bourne Coming to Consoles Next Year
Robert Ludlum's spy series featuring the fictional rogue assassin Jason Bourne has been adapted to film and will arrive the Xbox 360 and PS3.
After consultations with Ludlum's estate holders in which they received rights to develop existing material and include new approved content, High Moon Studios will develop both versions of the game.
The Bourne films, two of which have been made so far, received solid critical and public acclaim, and differed markedly from that other popular spy series, James Bond.
The upcoming title, its developers say, will feature melee and gun combat from the third-person persepective.
It is currently planned for a Summer 2008 release.
