Jam Sessions Track List

Ubisoft has revealed the track list for next month's DS guitar sim, Jam Sessions. It boasts tracks originally and performed written by David Bowie, Bob Marley, Janis Joplin and Bob Dylan.

The Best Buy edition of Jam Sessions will add three bonus tracks to the eclectic lineup: Brad Paisley's "I'm Gonna Miss Her," Jimi Hendrix's "Wild Thing" and Tom Petty's "Needles and Pins." Of course, since you can play any song you figure out the tablature, you don't need to fret if there isn't a Best Buy handy.

The full track list, sans Best Buy exclusives, is as follows:

Amy Winehouse - "You Know I'm No Good"
Avril Lavigne - "I'm With You"
Beck - "Jackass"
Blind Melon - "No Rain"
Bob Marley - "No Woman No Cry"
Bob Dylan - "Like A Rolling Stone"
Cheap Trick - "Surrender"
Coldplay - "Yellow"
Death Cab for Cutie - "I Will Follow You Into the Dark"
Jackson 5 - "Never Can Say Goodbye"
James Taylor - "How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved by You)"
Janis Joplin - "Me and Bobby McGee"
Johnny Cash - "I Forgot More Than You'll Ever Know"
Marvin Gaye - "What's Going On?"
Nirvana - "The Man Who Sold the World"
Rascal Flatts - "Life is a Highway"
The Fray - "Over My Head"

Am I the only one eager to get his hands on this and start a Nerd-Folk band? I'm thinking of branding the genre as N37k.

I don't know much (anything) about Jam Sessions, but since you apparently do, could you maybe explain this track list to me? It seems a tad... eclectic.

Did you play Elite Beat Agents? Eclectic seems to be the word of the day for DS rhythm games.

(and if you haven't played EBA, GO GET IT)

My brain is crying... I can only hope that wasn't intentional...
I, on the other hand, hope it was. Genius! ;)
