Comic #13 was already called Orbital Drop, in which Gunny kills someone by having his drop-pod land on them. Though that time it would go down as "friendly fire."

The joke in this case being the comment to start the thread of "He's really quite a good shot with those things" referring to the drop-pod since this is his 2nd time killing someone with one, it's not meant to refer to the shotgun he's packin'.

Why hasn't this been in an ACTUAL video games.

We joke about the heroic one liner spouting dude but most of the time it's done purely sarcastically.

I would love a game where the main character was unironic about these things.

Hey, yeah, I never noticed that. A lot of the time when a character spouts a one-liner, the other characters respond via varying degrees of eye-rolling. I'm pretty sure there are some out there where the quips are done for the sake of quips, but I guess they are pretty outnumbered.

You might want to check out Helldivers then. Basically it's Starcraft meets Starship Troopers. The main characters unironically say things like "How about a nice cup of Democra-TEA"

Quite correct, my mistake. I mistook the last panel as part of the first comic page and not another page/strip/comic.
