And it can backfire like hell when the not-so-informed crowd who is targeted by this ... honestly: scam, realize that they were ripped off. They will not hate on Activision, but on the franchise. Rovio still owns the IP and reaps all the profit from thier PC, iOS and Android games.
All Activision is allowed to do is port the games to consoles.
