Neo-Geo Games Announced On European Virtual Console

SNK and Nintendo announce Neo-Geo games for the European Virtual Console, starting with a trio of 2-D fighters.

Nintendo and SNK Playmore will finally be bringing Neo-Geo games to the Wii's Virtual Console in Europe, joining the Turbografx and Sega systems on Nintendo's digital download service. D4 Enterprise Inc. will be handling the Neo-Geo ports to the Virtual Console.

The first Neo-GEo title to launch on Wii will be SNK's oldest fighting game dating from 1991, Fatal Fury. This will be followed by two other retro fighters from 1992, World Heroes and Art of Fighting. Future titles will all be priced at 900 Wii Points.

SNK Playmore keep going down and down. The latest Metal Slug looks like ****, and shows nothing innovative at all.

I have long hoped they'd work on a complete Last Blade 3, but nope. Bastards. :)

And you know what? Buying those games on the Wii or any other console pains me. It's so easy these days to plug a PC on a TV screen. There are even PC screens which come at 19/10 ratios, or can be rotated in TATE mode.
