Video Games Live and PLAY! Announce Tour Updates

Video Games Live, the world's most successful videogame concert tour, has announced 25 new dates across North America and the United Kingdom.

Along with the announced shows, another 20 dates in Europe, Asia, Australia and South America are also being planned. The new shows feature music from the latest hit videogames including Halo 3, BioShock and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and have also added more interactive video screens, audience participation, synchronized lighting and other effects.

"Our goal of building Video Games Live as a worldwide brand is becoming a reality," said Marc Geiger of the William-Morris Agency [http://www.wma.com/]. "Tommy and Jack (Video Game Live founders Tommy Tallarico and Jack Wall) have created a very special and unique event experience that is not only a hit with gamers but also speaks to a general mainstream global audience as well."

Meanwhile, Jason Michael Paul Productions has announced that Joel Erikkson, composer on the Battlefield 1942 soundtrack, will attend the Oslo PLAY! concert on October 26 along with Jason Hayes and Leon Willett.

"Our shows not only feature the best videogame music has to offer but also the actual composers who have created the music," said Jason Michael Paul, the show's producer. "In Oslo it will be no different. It is our goal to give Joel's music the best we have to offer. PLAY! will do just that with him in attendance creating a very authentic evening."

Premiering in 2006, PLAY! was the world's first videogame symphony concert, and features a full orchestra and choir performing a wide array of popular game music.

Tour dates and ticket information are available at the PLAY! [http://www.videogameslive.com/index.php?s=dates] websites.
