Hundreds of people worked for many hours and then the judges spent more hours sorting through them and building this whole viewing / browsing system. Understand that a massive amount of effort went into bringing you these few fleeting moments of entertainment.

Isn't the internet awesome?
Now that you put it this way, it sure is.

I'm not exactly sure, Shamus. Most of the entrants in the gallery weren't half as funny as this one.

Breens face in the last frame is pretty scary, especially when he's going "laaaah"

Also makes it pretty funny.

It was funnier than the comic you're reading right now.
I beg to differ.
I agree with this statement and all the statements that agree with it. The thought of Breen waving his arms around making silly noises is pretty funny, if you ask me.

I think mine was amazing and should have won the contest.
Take a number xD

But seriously, I'm gonna be honest compared to this and some of the entries I've read, my one was seriously lacking in the comedy.

I was going to say something to the effect of "I could have done better then most of those guys. I should have made a comic."

But then I realized I had all the opportunity, time, and resources to and all I did was a quick sketch on a notepad to remind myself to start it soon. Even if I think most of the comics weren't very good at least these people burned some calories and ACTUALLY made them. I personally have no right to scoff at them when they at least had it in them to attempt the contest. Everyone of them is a better artist/writer because at least they have something they can say they did, where I do not.

This is kind of a personal reprimand. You can say whatever you want about the contest. I just wanted to force myself to apologize to the people who were in this contest for my arrogant mindset. Compared to what I did, you ALL did a great job.

Thanks~

This needs posting to all nay-sayers. Saying you can do better is one thing. Actually doing it is really hard work, as I'm sure Dr. Decoypus will let you know later. :)

ANYONE who entered the contest did really well. Even some of the more 'eclectic' creations. ;)

Agreed, I think we ALL want to see more of Many Guys Doing Manly Things (the comic strip, not just buff guys gardening or whatever). How do we make this happen?

EDIT: It may just be me, but the more you feature Breen, the more I think he is a dead ringer for Burt Reynolds.
