Ubisoft Making 30-Minute Ghost Recon Film
The film will be directed by François Alaux and Hervé de Crécy, the directors of the Assassin's Creed [http://www.logorama-themovie.com/] shorts that appeared on YouTube as part of that game's marketing campaign, the Ghost Recon project will be a single, 30-minute film and it won't necessarily debut online.
"The idea is to come out and come out big," said Executive Producer Xavier Poix. "From TV to the internet, all possibilities are open."
"We don't look at it just as a videogame brand," added Producer Adrian Lacey. "For us, it's very much an entertainment brand. Videogames talk to a lot more people than they did a while back. It's a much bigger audience so we're trying to bring more people to it."
While GameTrailers [http://www.rsafilms.com/d/rsa/companies/little-minx-us]. Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is scheduled for release during the 2010 holiday season.
