That falls apart under casual scrutiny. DLC doesn't always provide the same content as the original game.WhiteTigerShiro said:The full game IS the demo for the DLC. If you enjoyed the full game, here's more of it. If you didn't enjoy the full game, you probably won't be into the DLC either.
Woooow. Though again, that's less storefront and more EA being morons about the way the content MUST be integrated.RicoGrey said:Yeah really, the only game I have purchased DLC for was Dragon Age: Origins. The actual buying part was easy, but getting it installed was a lot more difficult. First the game had to recognize that I purchased the DLC, which it's own servers had a problem with. THEN, the game had to decide to download the DLC and install automatically, it did not seem to allow me to do it manually, which just irked me, because I wanted to have it all installed before I even played the first area of the game. Some of these problems were technical in nature, and strictly on their side, but still made setting up the DLC difficult, and to a non experienced user, I could easily see them viewing it as "complicated"
Pretty much this... And not enough horse armour.koroem said:DLC is overpriced crap 99% of the time. The other 1% is shit that should have been included with the game and some clown decided to rip it out and sell it separately to moronic free spenders who can't understand they are being ripped off, taken advantage of, and helping to support a terrible system.
Once again this picture tells the whole story:
