Megan Fox Quits Transformers Movies

Megan Fox has announced that she will not be appearing in Transformers 3.

Actress Megan Fox, who starred as Mikaela Banes in the first two Transformers [http://www.amazon.com/Transformers-Shia-Labeouf/dp/B000VR0570/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1276709075&sr=1-1] movies, will not be returning for the third installment, which starts production this month. Fox's publicist said in a statement: "Megan Fox will not be starring in Transformers 3 ... It was her decision not to return. She wishes the franchise the best."

Fox's departure follows comments made by Fox last year that Michael Bay was difficult to work with, where she compared the director to Napoleon and Hitler. This was followed by an unsigned letter written by three members of the Transformers crew, which accused her of being "dumb", "ungracious", and "unappreciative". Bay stepped up to defend Fox however, saying that he looked forward to working with her in the future.

As yet, Paramount is refusing to give any further details or say who will replace Fox. Transfomers 3 is scheduled for release in July 2011.

I agree, although i don't mind the films. But it was mostly her terrible acting that brought it down for me.

Thank goodness, maybe the next transformers will seem a bit less exploitative and Megan Fox can build a stable career (And maybe my ass can start a one man jazz ensemble).

I'm glad, get rid of all the humans in it, I say. Revenge of the fallen insulted me beyond recognition so I hope another installment doesn't do well. I only got relief by playing the Movie Bob review over and over..

I'm sure another website I visit said about a week-ago that she was in - and had photos of her on set, with the new versions of the autobots. I've even seen the pics on the site.

I didn't watch the movies for her anyways, her acting was decent, and she's kinda attractive.
But I only went to see the movies so I could see robots blow up other robots.
