Not really saving someone's life, but cool story nonetheless.

Brings me joy to see stories like this...

That's a lovely story. Made me smile.

Random acts of kindness are always great.

Thanks for sharing this story. On forums, people usually just post about how a girl drowned a cat or something. Thanks for posting a happy story.

The only thing the exceeds '4chans' capacity for evil... is its capacity for good.

(It's something I often say but you have to replace '4 chan' with 'mankind'

Seriously, they do nice stuff like this all the time and yet whenever they do people are so shocked about it.
I'm not shocked, they can be really cool.

The story about William J. Lashua is a better example of how kind 4chan can be

Story in a nutshell: old veteran looks for people for his birthday party, anonymous answers.

Eh, it may be the doubting skeptic inside me, but I really can't expect this thing to be 100% true. This is the internet after all. The place where anyone can claim anything and easily set anything up.

I don't doubt it could happen, I just a bit of a skeptic.

If it did happen, then god bless those two gentlemen from 4chan (Note how I said from and not 4chan in general. It just took place there and the rest of them had nothing to do with it. ) If it didn't, well, then it doesn't really matter.

I always thought this was a strange symptom of our culture, we see a homeless guy out on the street begging for change, we just keep walking. See another one with a dog, and we give his dog something.

I doubt this guy would've got anything if they had no pets.

I think it's called 'animal worship' and it starts up in declining societies.

I think that 4chan only hate big companies right? Not hungry strangers. At least they are hating the right people.

It's mainly because it's 4chan, the pit of internet.

Still, nice story, not saving anyone, but still, gave a nice and warm feeling inside. :)

You'd be surprised just how often people can be decent human beings. Nice to see people randomly giving money to others. Especially to feed dogs.

I...am...speechless...is this a omen that times are changing, or is this just a seasonal thing.
But i will admit that was a very generous thing 4chan did there.
