As the Escapism UK thing is also open to Irish, I hope one day to attend.

We were going to have Escapism Ireland, we had it all booked and all, but it sort of fell apart.

Okay, now I'm really regretting not going this time round.

With any luck I won't need to spend money on driving lessons next year and I'll be old enough to truly be independant, so if this thing happens next year I'll put in my best efforts to actually try and be able to attend.

I'm really glad to see how far this concept has come though, being someone who was interested in the original '09 Escapism UK, which my parents refused to let me go to because people from the Internet are weirdos who will inevitably end up stabbing me and selling my lungs on some dodgy Russian site to a guy called Vladimir.

I tried explaining that you guys are responsible for the '09 one (I even showed my parents the official thread for it) they just didn't buy it. Something about seeing someone on the Internet ask to meet up makes people all paranoid regardless of how reliable and trustworthy the site actually is.
