Nintendo Releases Wii Fit Pricing Details

With its U.S. launch approaching, Wii Fit [http://www.nintendo.com].

Nintendo has said the Wii Fit bundle, including the game and the unique Rockefeller Plaza [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wii_Balance_Board]will receive a limited edition Wii Fit t-shirt featuring a picture and reproduced autograph of legendary Nintendo designer Shigeru Miyamoto.

Wii Fit features over 40 yoga, aerobic, strength training and balance activities, brought together in a fun and simple way to integrate exercise into daily routines. Individual users can set their own fitness goals, using the software to track their progress over time. Miyamoto's fixation on his own body weight inspired him to design the game, which he describes [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/81392]as aiming to "make you aware of your body."

Wii Fit was originally launched in Japan on December 1, 2007, and has already achieved significant success, with sales of over 1.4 million units through mid-February in that country alone. Wii Fit is coming to the U.S. on May 19; for more information, go to WiiFit.com [http://www.wiifit.com].

When it's released in Europe, they might as well bundle it with Rock Band.Nobody will buy either.

Why's that? It looks fun, and also Rockband was a good game. However, that price jump was a bit much.

Some time mext year: Nintendo announce European release date for Wii: fit, price £150. Brawl stil waiting for release date.

It looks like fun, but if it cost anymore than £60 ($120) when it comes out in the UK. It won't be worth the effort.
