Def Leppard Confirms New Single For Guitar Hero Track Pack


Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock [http://www.defleppard.com/] but in a surprise for fans, one of the tracks will be a brand-new unreleased single from the band's upcoming new album Songs From The Sparkle Lounge.

The track, "Nine Lives," is the result of an unusual collaboration between Def Leppard and Tug McGraw [http://www.timmcgraw.com/], who is also apparently active in the music industry himself. Along with the new single, the track pack will feature live versions of two number-one tracks from the group's groundbreaking album Pyromania, "Rock of Ages" and "Photograph."

"Being involved with Guitar Hero is very exciting for us and adds a whole new layer of appreciation," said Def Leppard lead singer Joe Elliott. "I know from personal experience how much more you get into the music by playing the game - which is why we were keen to explore this opportunity. Guitar Hero is extremely popular with all kinds of music heads, which includes a lot of our fans, and we think releasing "Nine Lives" this way first is just fantastic!"
