Stubbs, Gauntlet on Xbox Originals

Stubbs the Zombie and Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows join the Xbox Originals download list.

On Monday, May 19, Wideload Studios's Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulse and Midway's Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows will be offered on the Xbox Live Marketplace as Xbox Originals. Each title will cost 1200 Microsoft points ($14.99).

Gauntlet will not be available in Japan and Korea. Stubbs will not be available in those countries, as well as in Austria, Switzerland and Germany.

Seriously, folks, if you don't already have Stubbs this is a really good chance to pick it up on-the-cheap. I enjoy Stubbs a lot; great level balance, fascinating zombie-horde mechanics, hilarious plot and art design, great controls, solid co-op play, fantastic soundtrack. It is quite gory, and the "M" rating is there for a reason, so it's appeal may not be universal.

Dammit, now I'm tempted to fire it up when I get home.

I definately plan to lay my hands on Stubbs, it seems to be a quite excelent game.
