The Escapist Wants Your Final Fantasy Cosplay!
If you've ever taken pictures of yourself wearing a SOLDIER uniform with your hair gelled up in huge spikes, we want to see it.
If there's one thing we here at The Escapist have noticed upcoming issue of our weekly magazine [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/tag/cosplay] focusing entirely on the state of the modern JRPG, we thought it would be appropriate to publish a cosplay gallery for one of the longest-running - and certainly the best-known - JRPG series in videogame history.
The only problem is, we just don't have enough pictures of Final Fantasy cosplayers in our existing galleries. So, that's where you come in.
If you'd like to be featured in our Final Fantasy cosplay gallery, please send a picture (or a link to a picture) of the costume to editor (at) escapistmag (dot) com with the subject "Final Fantasy Cosplay." If you would like to include a link to an online cosplay profile or a short comment or two about the process of making the costume - difficulties, techniques, etc. - you may do so.
Some quick rules:
[blockquote]*Please send in your own work. No grabbing random images off the internet and pretending they're your own. If it isn't an image you took yourself - or an image of you in costume - don't send it in. If you can properly source the picture, you have a much higher chance at being chosen for our gallery.
*No huge images. If you attach an image rather than sending a link, keep the file size reasonable. Resize the image if you need, because they're going to end up resized anyway. Nobody likes getting 3MB attachments spammed to their email.
*You may not be selected. Depending on how many submissions we get, we may not use all of them. If you send an image in and don't get selected, our apologies, but thank you for contributing!
*Keep it worksafe. This one should be pretty obvious. No porn, please.[/blockquote]
We look forward to seeing your costumes! To everyone else, look for our Final Fantasy cosplay gallery the week of November 8th.
