Hanging Up The Cape

Even in the vast expanses of the desert, lunacy and idiocy manage to find Star on Chest, and it all becomes just too much to bear.

World of Warcraft? Nooo, can't you play some other obscure MMO no one else plays?

Cool! Seeing as your series is the closest I've got to playing an MMO thus far, it'll be nice to see just how WoW rakes in the dough.

Is the WoW one new? Or is it one Shamus did before, like this series of Champions online?

Shamus, you should try giving "COH: Going Rogue" a shot, the graphics are somewhat dated but the plots are marginally less goofy.

Just read pretty much the entire series today, really enjoy these Shamus Play's (slightly prefered the LOTRO one) but a WoW should be highly humours.

You should give champions another look theyve improved a fair few of the wonkier missions and questlines and added some new stuff that star on chest may find fun (serpent lantern for instance is basically kicking vipers arse in africa) plus i cant see how WoW is gonna be anywhere near as fun as the adventures of star on chest were.

Marginally? They shine like Oscars compared to this drivel.

Honestly. I actually felt relieved that my trial finished when it did. That actually went beyond Meyer into realms of "My Immortal" at times.

You deserve a medal for just putting up with it Shamus.

Some of the earliest plotlines had issues. The "revolving door that is the vault of MAGI" is a joke that never quite gets old.

The newer stuff is light-years better then the earlier stuff but even in the early days the stories tried to take themselves somewhat seriously.

I don't know if the art style in Champions dictated what the writing style should have been or if the reverse was true.

True, but how many times have you done Frostfire in a row? 5? 10? 15? :)

Even the [Row of 15 Expletives] Malta missions are well written. Not to mention the NaziCouncil WereWarwolves.

And - Seer Marino / Rescue the Journalist.

Now, where's that journalist and what are all these bodybag...

Or the Mafia Enforcer mission where they're doing it for their sick kid...

Seriously...against the Channel 5 afternoon sitcom scripts Champions had? Oscars.

i say you do one for Minecraft
That would be amazing, but MineCraft doesn't have quests or plot lines. Or even NPCs, for that matter. It would be strictly player interactions.

But if you're even on MineCraft, Shamus, there's always room on the server.

I just did!

:)

Maybe we'll do something exotic again after WoW. I might have to, if they keep delaying TOR and DCU.
