First Kinect Sex Game Prototype Pops Up [NSFW]

Evidence of the first working prototype for a Kinect sex simulator is just as disturbing as you'd imagine.

It's human nature for us to attempt to use any new technology to satisfy our most basic needs. Many credit the growth of the internet, for example, to the proliferation of pornography across its various tubes. Ever since Kinect was Project Natal, people have been speculating what kind of sex games would be possible with a technology that can detect body parts and project them in a digital space. With the drivers to control Kinect now freely available, dildonics experts like Kyle Machulis [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/105757-Kinect-Sex-Games-Coming-Soon] have come out to explain how a possible application for interactive sex might work. Kinect has only been out a month and a half, but it appears that we have the first working prototype of a sex simulator. ThriXXX games posted a video today that shows a man using Kinect to "lay hands" on a digital female body.

ThriXXX games has been around since 2001 providing software which allows you to, well, screw anything that you might want. The ThriXXX website calls titles like 3D Sex Villa 2 and Fetish 3D "animated interactive sex games." The company has revamped its technology many times, including support for "interactive sextoys" like the V-Stroker [http://vstroker.com/thrixxx.html] to manipulate the images depicted in the game, among other things.

It seems that ThriXXX is continuing to innovate, by jumping on the possibilities that Kinect might provide for sex games. "Up to now thriXXX has invested millions of dollars into the development making it the leader in interactive character animation and interaction," the website reads. "Something completely new is in development, which will be a huge step away from the current product line."

I think the video above might be just what they were hinting at. Personally, the animation of the ladies seems leaden and devoid of life, but you have to respect the use of technology and the need for privacy.

Blurring out your face so that the internet doesn't know who you are was probably a good idea, Mr. Sex Game Developer.

I thought the palm-trees were pretty well animated :3

OT: ...can Microsoft do anything to stop them?
Would they want to stop them if they got royalties?

May I ask why Lego Black Ops needs an age pass but this doesn't? Are we Japanese now?

Well I guess there's a new low for being perverse...

Why is it that we find sex to be immature?

Fact: Everyone who posts after me HAS masturbated at some point AND enjoyed it using stimuli.
Fact: Everyone who posted before me has as well.

The same crap against sex has been leveled against every aspect of media. Yet pornography continues to sell at rapid rates. Get over yourself guys. You know there's a market for this game and that's nothing to be ashamed of.

And tell me I'm not the only guy who expected the video demo guy to spank the woman when she was bent over.

Faptastically yours,
-Cliff

Man that was funny. Perhaps MS should change the slogan of Kinect to "Anything is possible"?

I don't mind that games like this exist, but it's laughable that anyone would try to do such an immature thing with the technology presented.

Why? Sex sells. It also has helped drive technology in the past. Seems logical, even if it is also kind of creepy.

Congrats Kinect I must now concede, my previous hatred for you is now mere dislike... Now make a few decent games and then we'll consider a relationship

Human nature is just that predictable. One makes something new and innovative, the first gu- no, nerd to work on it afterwards uses it as a sex substitute.

Now all we need is something that it was clearly not designed for then we have the full set.

The beginning of the end. I was just surprised this wasn't Japanese.

Either way this is pretty shocking. Shockingly bad. Leave a few dev kits lying around in Tokyo and see how long it takes them to cook something like this up.
