Pitch a Perfect Game, Win a Million Bucks With MLB 2K11

2K Sports has another $1 million to give away to the first person who can pitch a perfect game in the upcoming Major League Baseball 2K11 [http://www.amazon.com/Major-League-Baseball-2K11-Playstation-3/dp/B004CDGFRI/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1294429086&sr=8-2].

Either Wade McGilberry [http://2ksports.com/] fired a no-no on the very first day of the contest.

But that hasn't dissuaded 2K from putting up another cool million for the first person to accomplish the feat in MLB 2K11. In fact, the company has actually widened the field of contestants by opening the contest to gamers as young as 13, although I imagine there will be some kind of restriction in place to keep 2K from forking over a seven-figure check to a junior high student.

Otherwise, all the usual rules and regulations are in effect: the contest is open to legal residents of the U.S. minus a half-dozen or so states that hate baseball, and must be played on either the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 version of the game. More details will be forthcoming but you can get the lowdown as it stands now at Major League Baseball's [http://www.2ksports.com/perfectgame] Opening Day, April 1, while Major League Baseball 2K11 comes out on March 8 for the aforementioned two systems as well as the PC, Wii, PS2 and PSP.

I'd care more if the 2K baseball games weren't radically inferior to the MLB The Show games in every possible way. It sucks for baseball fans without a PS3, though.

Not being from the land of baseball i actually thought this meant "Pitch a perfect Game idea", now im dissapointed. : (
This was my thinking too. Took me a little longer to realize what they meant so I was confused at first on why 2K Sports was having a giveaway for a contest which would have largely non-sport related entries. I was also disappointed.

Oh. I thought the bloody thing was still going. The first one, on 2K10.

And was available to people outside the US.
