DC Comics to Take On Devil May Cry, Resident Evil
Devil May Cry and Resident Evil (fifth iteration pictured) will receive new comic series treatment thanks to a deal between DC Comics and Capcom.
DC Comics' Wildstorm arm will produce the tie-in, although it will not be the company's first such venture. In the late 1990s the company published Resident Evil comics delving into some aspects of the story presented in the games.
Devil May Cry was also once due for comic series treatment but the publisher, Dreamwave Productions, went bust.
No hard details about either comic's direction or duration were available, but the announcement follows on the heels of EA's acknowledgment earlier this week that DC Comics will also produce the comic precursor to the upcoming title Mirror's Edge.
