F.E.A.R. 3 Collector's Edition Includes Naked Alma Figurine

The collector's edition of F.E.A.R. 3 [http://www.amazon.com/F-R-3-Playstation/dp/B003GT8IL0/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1295022468&sr=8-2] will bring a whole new level of weird and creepy to your game shelf with a naked, pregnant Alma figurine featuring a glow-in-the-dark fetus.

Settle back in your chair and let that sink in for a bit. Alma Wade. Naked. Pregnant. Standing beside you. And when you turn out the lights, whatever demonic beast she has growing in her belly continues to glow an eerie, evil green. Right about now, one of two things is happening: you're either desperately trying to scrub that appalling mental image from your brain, or you're looking for your car keys so you can head on over to GameStop to get your preorder in.

A fairly standard bundle of CE extras will also be included, like a F.E.A.R. 3 comic book from F.E.A.R. [http://www.dccomics.com/] But really, who cares about any of that when there's an emaciated, knocked-up, murderous lunatic in the box?

Alma Wade, for those who don't know, is an immensely powerful and utterly insane telepath, consumed by fury and responsible for all the badness that's transpired so far in the F.E.A.R. series. Her bun in the oven is the result of one of the most over-the-top WTF moments in the history of gaming that took place in the final moments of F.E.A.R. 2 [http://www.amazon.com/Fear-2-Project-Origin-Playstation-3/dp/B00163LW7K/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1295022739&sr=8-2], which appeared to step away from the horror aspect of the first game but was in fact just saving it all up for a mind-bending 20-second blowout of awfulness at the very end.

F.E.A.R. 3 is due out in May for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Pricing on the Collector's Edition hasn't been announced, but you better believe I'm getting one.

Pre-Ordering. Now When it becomes available.

This is one of the greatest game collectibles since the CCS t-shirt.

However, this would both make for both the most interesting conversation starter award and the worst "time we had that talk" instigator

This is really creepy, I was never planning on getting the game, and if I did there is no way I would get the CE.

It's a good thing I'm not an Armastad agent or scientist from the F.E.A.R games, or that figurine might just eat rend me alive upon opening the box.

..That said, I will pre-order this game. But the creepy, psychopathic pregnant chick remains INSIDE.

That has to be the most diturbing thing ever.

Thankfully I wasn't intending to buy it, so that can stay at Game for me.

And I call shotgun on controversy issue!

Who the hell want that!!!

I can somewhat easily see it just like those figures like Freddy and Jason you can buy from a comicbook shop like Forbidden Planet but as a collector's edition? Do not want.

Egad is that ever a creepy collector's edition item - it's almost too ridiculous of a concept to believe, my brain doesn't want to accept that this is in fact a real thing that is happening. I mean, you can just imagine say... The Onion writing up a story about something like this, and we'd all laugh because it's just so improbable.
