145 New Fallout 3 Screens Leaked Online

Here's a little treat for gamers looking forward to Fallout 3 [http://www.bethsoft.com]: 145 unofficial screenshots have been leaked online.

According to a report on No Mutants Allowed [http://www.nma-fallout.com/article.php?id=44246], Bethesda hosted a press demonstration of the game in Taiwan for Chinese and Taiwanese gaming sites. Numerous pictures were taken, of course, but shockingly, someone in the Chinese press apparently decided to ignore the non-disclosure agreement and posted the pictures online.

There's not a whole lot more to say about it, other than to warn of the likelihood of spoilers, as the photos document a fairly thorough walkthrough of the game's opening chapter. On the other hand, it's a ton of cool Fallout 3 stuff to look at. Some shots are available at here [http://www.nma-fallout.com/article.php?id=44246]. (Note: These images may be a time-limited deal, depending on how hard - or if - Bethesda comes down on the NDA violation. Get 'em while they're hot.)

The Chinese gaming sites pulled a stunt like this? What the fuck. Way to drop the ball, westerners.

Looks pretty sweet to me. NMA thread makes me cry though, those guys are so damn negative about every little detail.

I just find it funny that a Chinese man would upload the pictures, ignoring disclosures, but the Chinese government cracks down hard on Tiananmen Square pics.

Sorry, I digress; it should be about games. Nice score. The games looks pretty interesting.

It looks a lot like Oblivion with the forests replaced by ruins. It's at least got some of the dialog, and Bethesda claims the idiotic scaling is gone, so we seem to be on track. I still have my reservations, but I've been training myself to like Oblivion of late, and as such I'm no longer as NMA-negative as I once was.
