ooh surprisingly hadn't heard of about half of these, that brazil one sounds very neat! I remember trying the bounties back when it just had come out, soooo buggy, so I had to uninstall it at the time, might have to give that another shot as well.

I have to agree that Project Nevada is incredible. Imaginator is good for making the contrast and colour just a little bit cleaner as well.

Now I need to go play Project Brazil, Damn you Ffronw... I only have so much time, I cannot play all these games...

The embed code for Nevada Skies (page 2) was written improperly.

OT: The truck mod looks fantastic. I've always been kind of bummed about the fact that there were no vehicles around in the Fallout-verse other than a Brahmin cart or two (and the occasional Vertibird you couldn't use). I'd love it if you could scrounge up the parts for a half-working truck and haul a trailer around the Wasteland freely, but this is an OK middle.

I had heard of the Highwayman, but I thought it was just a fancy fast-travel system. Hot damn, time to go see if I can scrounge up a copy of F2!

The big overhauls are great, but for me, a really small mod that just barely tweaks something or adds just one thing can be really awesome. Populated Casinos does what it says on the tin, with three different settings. [http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/35369/?] One modder did three really small changes that makes you wonder why they weren't in the base game; prostitutes in the Atomic Wrangler [http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/42220/?], Gun Runner caravans [http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/42503/?] (though they can be buggy), and a second door guard in front of Silver Rush. [http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/42253] Why did they add them? Simple, lines in the game said that they existed, but the developers failed to create. Just a tad bit more immersion. Remember the NCR ranger that greases the raider in the intro cinematic? Well here they are. [http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/46231/?] It doesn't work for most people and you have to use console commands to fix it, but its the thought that counts. Feel free to save the victims of the legion from crucifixion [http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/39289/?] and free the slaves at the fort. [http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/43290/?] I'd recommend a mod where you can become a slaver yourself, but its broken as fuck. I love dressing Veronica in this Wonder Woman outfit [http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/46515/?], as its appropriate for her for numerous reasons[footnote]You need a body mod for that. There's a popular one for men and a popular one for women. Type 3 for women and I don't recall the one for guys at this moment.[/footnote]. Silly, but puts a smile on my face. Don't like her ugly robes but aren't quite as flamboyant as me? Give her some scribe robes so that you can actually see her face. [http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/35598] This mod simply adds graffiti to bathroom stalls. [http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/41961/?] This one gives you the ability to make briefcase nukes. [http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/52410/?] This is the cardboard box from Metal Gear Solid as an equippable item. It actually works. [http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/49796/?] To go along with that one, this one adds the exclamation point alert from MGS. [http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/44782/?] The Noisy Cricket from Men in Black, [http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/49795], and yes, it tosses you backwards. Its fun to use. There are plenty of great follower mods, Willow [http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/41779/?] being the most popular, but well deserving of that spot. Running out of spots for companions you say? Don't worry, you're covered for that. [http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/34870/?] Tired of having to trek back to the Lucky 38 to get your companions? Set anywhere in the Mojave as their home. [http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/36738] There's tons of great guns and outfits. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention this mod that gives Caesar's Legion actual gladius swords [http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/37093] rather than just calling a random machete a gladius. Here's the armour and weapons of the Man With No Name. [http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/40238] The guns play a little jingle from the movies' music when you draw and holster them. You know how bean bags are completely useless? Well somebody fixed that [http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/59235/?] - only catch is that they could only fix it by making them overpowered. You can knock a Deathclaw unconscious with a single bean bag and seem them ragdoll - thats really fun. They go great with this hilariously overpowered blunderbuss. [http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/55666/?] Do you like reloading weapons? Well with this you can breakdown surplus ammo [http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/39433/?], giving you enough primers to actually reload ammo. You probably saw how you can build your own community in Fallout 4, right? Well get some practice in with this mod. [http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/38049/?] Oh, and then there's this - a UI fix so that it fits better for computers. [http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/34902] I highly recommend it, though its not quite mandatory like Skyrim's UI overhaul is.

Point is, there are a ton of great mods out there that aren't huge overhauls but can really positively effect your experience. Little things, you know?

There's a mod for that. [http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/49042] I can't vouch because I never had any interest in it. There's also at least one mod [http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/49118/?] that serves to tweak and improve it.

Edit: How could I forget the mod that allows you to sprint using your AP points?

http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/34943/?

Its simple, but it makes so much since, given that AP is tied to Agility, and it really makes wandering the wastes much faster as well as giving you an extra push in combat if need be. I only ever use VATS against annoying cazadores, so I always like my AP was going to waste. Now I feel quite differently. I actually hope this one is incorporated into Fallout 4 because its such a simple change that improves the game dramatically.

okay wtf..I had an explanation for you because I've done it many times, then all the sudden my method doesn't work anymore...

I used to be able to put something like &start=45 after the relevant youtube bit, but now that just gives an error..

WHAT THE FUCK ESCAPIST.

No mention of Tale of Two Wastelands [https://taleoftwowastelands.com/]. We can't be friends anymore, not that we were to begin with.

There was a long discussion on this in the tech team group the other day. You might give that a look and see what came of it.

Baby Deathclaw Commander mod: [link]http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/37388/?[/link] (I can't figure out how to make words as links). To say this makes how Fallout 3's Dogmeat worked look like crap would be an understatement. Hatching it, feeding it, deciding it's behavior, all that works great, and the thing is FREAKING ADORABLE. Who's a little killing machine? You are! You are!

The Robco Certified mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/43331/? is another great one. It allows you to build a bunch of robots or repair broken ones including former enemies for your own use as both fighters and pack mules by purchasing perks at level ups and with the right parts. Having a Robobrain following you around is fun, and there's a super powerful amalgamation bot that's even better.

Another is a mod I can't find anymore that allowed you to turn all companions truly passive with the push of a button, so they wouldn't run off and start attacking things without your input, it only works on vanilla companions though. I tried to use the JIP Companions Command and Control mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/50468/? which supposedly would do the same thing to most any companion vanilla or no but I could never get it to work at all. Most likely the result of a mod conflict since I have about 3 dozen mods.

As you might notice all of these have something to do with companions, which is natural as the vanilla companions and their system sucks BADLY.

I'm also glad to see a true crafting system will be made in Fallout 4, since I also have a mod that works similarly and it's good to see that Bethesda realized just how pointless all that random junk lying around everywhere is without something to actually do with them.

Sadly, no. You can whup their arse catastrophically in one of the DLCs, though.
Yeah, but that's not the same as my dream of ambushing legion caravans with a high powered sniper rifle, is it? And then laughs as I imagine the base commander staring off into the distance, desperately hoping for reinforcements after the water supply got mysteriously poisoned last week.

That was my favourite part. Now, as for solving the issue, the code was updated a while ago. This [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.850242-The-Escapist-Users-Guide-to-Posting-Commands-and-How-to-do-Fancy-Code-Stuff] thread should be updated, but you should remove the "&" and just leave a gap (no underscore) after the time code, so it's simply "[*youtube=xyz start=45]".

OT: Thanks fo' the gallery. I like the ones that showcase mods. Nice and creative picks as well; I hadn't even heard of the last one.
