West liking anime isn't that big of a surprise. When it comes to the entertainment industry there's a shocking number of people who seem to like it (shocking when one remembers that the reason anime is dead in Western television compared to the early 2000s is due to about a half dozen executives thinking it's over).

I mean hell, those who admit to it aren't particularly few in number, which is probably why conventions numbers are on a steady increase. Here's a comprehensive list of celebrities who have stated they enjoy watching specific series:

I wonder if any Celebrities play 40k? I mean wouldn't it just fuck with you and your nephew if Helen Mirren has a Slaanesh Daemon/Emperor's Children army?!
Or if Ben Carson was the worlds biggest World Eater fan?!
Or Ellen Page was a Sister of Battle(actually that one seems too plausible to be funny. Hold On I'll try again)

*Ahem*

Oh man, what if Wolfgang Puck had a sushi based Tryanid Army?!
And who doesn't want to hear William Shatner read Black Library Horus Heresy books?!

And there's still dozens more that aren't even on that list...

Yes, yes, yes guess who's on third?
Lupe steal like Lupin the Third.

OT: I wonder if when Megan Fox ends up as a guest on The Late Show, she'll be talking Tolkien after the commercial break...

Other than that, geeky hobbies are always with those hiding in plain sight...

I was hoping Nathan Fillion and Halo would come up. He loves the games so much he's done voices for two of them.

Let's not forget the guy who loved Dark Souls enough to be Mild-Mannered Pate NPC in it's sequel;

Now all I want is to watch Daniel Craig and Nathan Fillion do co-op playthroughs and multiplayer matches together.

I have to wonder how the Star Wars prequels would've turned out if DiCaprio had taken the part of Anakin. He could only have improved them.

I would pay all money to see that happen. Not just all my money; all money, everywhere. I would pay it.

Ok Megan, of course Frodo was eating the Lembas bread in Mordor and not Moria because it was a gift from the elves whom he met after losing Gandalf to the Balrog. pssh
