Thank You! for not repeating the myth that the Guillotine inventor was executed by Guillotine.
Some guy named Guillotine was executed during the french revolution, but it was not the same guy as the inventor.
Actually James Douglas was an inventor of one type of the Guillotine. Specifically the "Maiden" which he is credited for bringing there and being beheaded by there.

There were apparently multiple types of guillotines made by different people. So not "THE Guillotine" which was invented by Dr. Antoine Louis. Joseph-Ignace Guillotin was actually just the one to propose using it to carry out less painful executions because he was against executions in general (they even changed their name in shame of the association). So your argument would have been valid if someone had been talking about Guillotin or specifically the Guillotine rather than James Douglas and the Maiden.
Interestingly enough, it does seem a lot more effective and humane than our current medical solution. Though I would personally prefer a skilled firing squad were that to ever be my end.
However, a more apropos issue to take with the entries would be regarding the token female of the article, Marie Curie, who was not an inventor. Additionally,it also wasn't any sort of invention of hers that killed her. She experimented with radioactive materials and in doing so was basically poisoned by them. She didn't create radiation or create anything else really. This would be like saying that someone who explores caves and was killed by a rockslide in one was killed by their invention.
So, nope, She was no more killed by her invention than her husband was when he was killed by a truck while crossing the street. Heck, at least the truck would have been invented by someone rather than a naturally occurring material.
