Personally I like the cases done by this guy http://www.slipperyskip.com/page23.html . They are all made from wood and are actually buildable for the price of normal case. Admittedly I do build the odd piece of furniture so I have all the tools anyway.

keeps saying page not found when I try to click your link :-/

OT:

some of those are pretty sweet, Maybe someday if I got a free weekend and lots of extra cash sitting around I'll do something like this, I'd probably do one that is built into the desk (kind of like the tie fighter), like an all steampunk desk :D

My fault, I put a full stop at the end of the sentence but forgot to put the space. It should work now

eeeeekkkkk

most of those furniture ones I've seen in old houses too many times, they remind me of old people and medicine smell too much, I don't think I'd want them :-/

appreciate the effort though, can't fault the creator for that.

I love the look of the AzTtec case, but I'm not sold on the matching keyboard and mouse. It would probably be a pain to keep them clean and the uneven hight of keys would drive me nuts after a week.

My favourite case mod would have to be this one [http://media.moddb.com/images/groups/1/1/897/fanmade_TON..jpg], based on the Temple of Nod from Command and Conquer Tiberium Dawn. That could be the oldschool C&C player in me, though.

Good god, the AzTec is puntastic! That is dedication to a joke if ever there was one. personally I really liked the sputnik, just kind of worried about the cooling.

The Tiefighter would be nice too, but would be a ***** to assemble or disassemble in case you ever needed to move.

Wow, The Military Base has insane details.
Though I would LOVE a Tie Fighter desk.

Most of them are pretty cool, but the military base one looks completely un-usable. There's just so much shit getting in the way of the screen, and since it's all fixed on one base you can't even adjust the screen angle or anything. The others look like interesting PC cases, that one just look like someone accidentally spilled a diorama on their monitor.

Oh god, that Battlefield case is unbelievable lame. Sorry for throwing around stereotypes, but it seems like the type of thing that would appeal to a child; kind of like a racing car bed.

Why would you build a PC into a Tie Fighter? Those things break when you look at them funny!
I mean, it looks FANTASTIC, but...it's a Space Futility Vehicle!
