Microsoft Announces Extended Play Download Days

Microsoft has announced price cuts on some of its most popular downloadable content on the Xbox Live Marketplace [http://www.xbox.com/en-us/live/marketplace/?WT.svl=nav].

Major Nelson has the news that Xbox Live Marketplace is running an "Extended Play Download Days" promotion, offering cuts of 25 to 60 percent on DLC for games including Mass Effect, Oblivion, Guitar Hero 3 and Beautiful Katamari. A full list of October discounts can be found here. [http://majornelson.com/archive/2008/09/05/extended-play-download-days-price-drop-on-dlc.aspx]

Some of this stuff is getting older but there are still some pretty good deals to be had. If you've been waiting to inject some new life into your old games, this may be a good time to make your move. The "Extended Play Download Days" runs until the end of October.
