Tremble in Fear at the "100 Greatest Movie Threats of All Time"

Next time you want to threaten somebody, why think of something new? Just use one of these bad boys.

Movie scriptwriters have it tough sometimes. Most movies involve conflict of some sort, and said conflict will invariably devolve into threats at least once. When that happens, you can't just fall back on a lame "I'll kick your ass, punk," nosiree - you need to be creative. You want your threats to stand out amongst the crowd!

Following up on his previous compilations like "The 'Other' 100 Best Movie Quotes of All Time [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PSEYXWmEse8&feature=player_embedded]," film buff and editor Harry Hanrahan has collected a century of the most creative, profanity-ridden, and downright intimidating threats in film history.

The language is most definitely Not Safe For Work, so if you're in an office or around small children, you might want to put some headphones in to protect their ears.

In case you're curious (or want to see more), the folks over at The Way of the Gun [http://www.pajiba.com/videos/the-100-greatest-movie-threats-of-all-time.php] with four threats on the list, edging out Casino and Robocop with three apiece.

I think my personal favorite on the list is an early quote from Laughing Policeman: "Whatever you're reachin' for better be a sandwich, 'cause you're gonna have to eat it." What's yours?

"Come quietly or there'll be.... trouble."
That wasn't my favorite but I enjoy the awkward sound of it.

I like seeing lists with movies I have watched.

I started watching this earlier. I got bored after 20 something unfortunately.

And they should definitely have had Takens phone speech in there

"I'm gonna take you to the bank Senator Trent. To the blood bank."
Who could deliver something so corny other than the master of corny, Steven Segal.

They did have it in there. It's somewhere around the seven minute mark.

Oh dear, that last one was atrocious.

My favourite is the threat from Taken, of course, but I was a little disappointed not to see more from Tombstone in there. People threaten each other in Tombstone with every alternate sentence, and the one they chose was far from the worst.

'I'm your Huckleberry.'

I am disgustingly disappointed that they didn't include Kurt Russell's "Hell's coming with me!" line from Tombstone.

That's a fucking sin right there.

Good to see 'Dead Mans Shoes' before hitting play.

Hopefully its the "What the fuck are you looking at?" "You, you ****" scene.

This one clearly, it's the only one I use myself from time to time.

Well, I knew only a small fraction of the films in there. I'm ashamed, terribly ashamed.

"Go away or I will taunt you a second time"

Truely Threatening, I wouldnt mess with that guy.

Very dissapointed that there is no Tit For Tat Threat in there.

Well, I was just remembering a limerick. "There once was a woman who was quite begat. She had three babies named Nat, Pat, and Tat. She said it was fun in the breeding, but found it was hell in the feeding, when she saw there was no tit for Tat." You have caused me no end of trouble, but now I shall return the favor. Tit for tat, right?

Way of the gun is flaming awesome movie, even if Benicio does get it right in the legs...

What amazes me is that despite it coming from an armour plated cyborg with a machine gun in one hand, nobody ever takes it seriously.

The first one to jump into my head was that one from Tommy Boy. Glad to see it made the list.

Also, best TV threat: "You've been birddoggin' this township a while now. They wouldn't mind a corpse of you. Now you can luxuriate in a nice jail cell, but if your hand touches metal, I swear by my pretty floral bonnet I will end you."

It has to do with the fact that he looks like a life-size Power Ranger-style toy.

I'm amazed there were not more In The Loop quotes, there is a film with threats.
