From Dust Delayed on PC

The PC version of From Dust [http://www.fromdustgame.com] has been pushed back into August.

Here are three reasons why you should care about From Dust. One, it's a "spiritual successor" to Another World [http://www.amazon.com/Populous-I-PC/dp/B0012NXJIE/ref=sr_1_10?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1311692813&sr=1-10]. Three, just look at that freakin' video! If that doesn't get your juices flowing you might as well leave this news post right now.

Sadly, if you're a mouse-and-keyboard sort, you're going to have to wait a little while longer to lead your people to salvation. Ubisoft revealed yesterday that the PC edition of the game will not be out until August 17, although why it's been pushed back remains a mystery.

The good news is that the Xbox 360 version of From Dust is still on schedule and will arrive on XBLA tomorrow, July 27. A release for the PlayStation 3 is planned for sometime later this year.

Well, just for that I'm not going to lead them to salvation. They can suffer an eternity of damnation now and it'll all be Ubisoft's fault. I hope they're proud of themselves.

I was very confused when the number after PEGI wasn't 18, need to play less violent games I suppose.
I've never heard of this before, but that looks amazing. I don't even care if it plays terrible, it's so damn beautiful.

This won't help the game too much. I know quite a few people who were looking forward to it, but will be pre-occupied by having the life sucked out of them by Deus Ex to want to buy it when it comes out on PC now.

I'll definitely be checking out the demo at least.
