Terrorists Could Attack With Sega Games

Hide your 8-bit collect as Al Qaeda terrorists have been trained in the art of Sega cartridge bomb-building.

Those crafty terrorists continue to innovate their weapons of violence. "The Dirty 30", 30 of Osama Bin Laden's top security brass, were captured and imprisoned years ago, yet still continue to unveil how devious their plots for attacks were.

One prisoner being held in Guantanamo Bay is an expert at building bomb detonators with the chips from Sega game cartridges. Along with bringing new meaning to the term "videogame violence", he was also trained in "assassination and the use of poisons and disguises." He hasn't confirmed whether his skill has previously been put to practical use.

Read. He said he could use the chips on a Sega cartridge board as detonators. He doesn't have to put the explosives into the cartridge. It would be very startling at best, and lethal at worst. But only if he included something like shrapnel.

I have to wonder if this is perhaps a hoax, after reading the new article about Sega creating a new Mega Drive game. I mean, come on, sega cartridges? Most of the public probably wouldn't know what a Mega Drive cartridge was even if it did actually blow up in their faces!
