Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition Gets an Ultimate Trailer

The Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition trailer is now on the tubes.

There's probably nothing in this trailer that you haven't seen before, but have you ever seen it all mashed together in one single video? I don't think so. That's because this is the ultimate trailer for the Ultimate Edition of Fallout: New Vegas, the ultimate collection of post-nuclear RPG action in Sin City.

The Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition is the complete package, with all the DLC - Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues and Lonesome Road - plus the Courier's Stash and Gun Runners' Arsenal add-on packs that bring unique weapons, ammo and recipes to the game. Fallout: New Vegas is a great game and this is a hell of a deal for anyone who hasn't yet sampled its irradiated pleasures.

Of course, it's also a bit of a slap in the junk for those of us who have purchased and played it, as the stand-alone DLC releases are still selling for ten bucks each, plus a few dollars more for the Courier and Gun Runner packs - the same price, in other words, as the Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition, which will sell at launch for $49.99. Call me a dreamer if you must, but with the Ultimate Edition on the way it sure would be nice to see the original DLC take a price cut.

Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition comes out on February 7 in North America and February 10 in Europe for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

I paid extra to play it early, I guess.
Not too bitter about it, it's a brilliant, brilliant game. Well worth it.

great game, I've loved all the dlc I've played(haven't had a chance to go through lonesome road yet). The GRA was a nice addition as well and finally gave me something to use the mountain of caps I had just sitting around doing nothing.

No, I'm not surprised. Hardly the first time Bethesda has done this, and other publishers too. Game of the Year editions are nothing new, it'd just be nice to see original DLC prices go down appropriately. I still haven't played any of the Fallout 3 DLC and I probably won't ever touch the New Vegas stuff either, not because I don't want to - I'd love to - but because I refuse to pay that kind of price for it, on top of what I paid for the original game.

That said, I have the collector's editions of both FO3 and FONV, and no regrets. Great games, and there's so much content in the core release that I don't feel at all "cheated" by not getting to the DLC.

Ooh, I want this. I hope they sort out some of the bugs while they're at it. I promised myself I'd never start New Vegas, though, until I'd completely finished Fallout 3. Completely finished it. Everything.

You can imagine the scope of this project.

Will this also have an ultimate patch to sort out all the bugs?
Probably not: if they did, then they couldn't claim to be the Ultimate in hard re-setting your console.
That would have to be handed off to Skyrim.

Well I'm glad the game of the year addition is out but I'm gonna wait a little bit before I put down some cash to get this. Gonna wait to hear if there are any major game breaking glitches that might be in the game. I know for a lot of people it's a random draw of the luck but my luck just isn't that good.

Well atleast I've gotten one good piece of news day, thanks Mr. Chalk.

I got the 360 version a while ago and bought Dead Money and Honest Hearts when they were on sale. Then I got Steam and got the GotY PC edition. I might still put it into the 360 while that version's more stable than the PC one, even with all the bugfix and stability mods out there.

That is J.E Sawyer singing by the way. Also great game one of my all time favourites in my top 3 anyway. However I already have all add ons so I won't be getting this but I would recommend picking it up.
