KissXSis has been a review I've been meaning to get around to. I have it ranked number two in my top fan-service(of the sexual kind) anime. Beating even Highschool DxD and Highschool of the Dead... without even having full-nudity. I applaud them for that. Now with the intro done, let's go into the basic info.

KissXSis is based of the manga of the same name. The series is written by Ditama Bow. To clarify before we go to far, this review is based off the twelve episode anime series and not the OVAs. The series has been going since 2005 with seventy-nine chapters written so far. So let's get reviewing.

Story

Our story follows middle school senior, Keita Suminoe. At a young age Keita's father remarried a woman, bringing in two new twin sisters, Ako and Riko. As time went on, the twins started to have a romantic attraction to Keita, causing them to try and seduce him. That's about it for the anime. Most episodes involve some small issue that needs sorted out, this takes up about five minutes of screen time. The rest is his sisters half naked or doing perverted stuff. They're is really nothing here to interest anyone. Just a typical school harem. As episodes go on, his harem grows. That's about it. The last episode is filled with terrible melodrama, but the last scene is pretty sweet.

Characters

This may come as a shock, but our MC is bland as a stick. His only noticeable trait is that he is good in track. His sisters have a little more personality. Ako is the smart one, she can cook, and is very well respected as the student council president. Riko is the more physical one, being helpful to all of the sports clubs, and being the head of the disciplinary squad. Joining the group later on is Miharu Mikuni, a shy girl. She has one of the most nasty scenes I've ever watched in an anime. Mikazuki Kiryū, an annoying loli that acts as Keita's track coach. She's pretty much exist for comedic relief and to add to the harem. Lastly, we have Yūzuki Kiryū, acting as homeroom teacher for all of the Suminoe family at some point. Sadly, this anime doesn't reach the point were her role becomes important. She's actually a fun character. Being an otaku, she spends all of her money on otaku goods and rent. She lives off store-bought ramen. My personal favorite characters are the parents, as they approve of all the actions the twin sisters take to seduce Keita. So, the characters are eh, but since the MC is bland. It really kinda lowers the score.

Art

The art is alright, nothing really to right home about. They do tend to show some real talent when the ecchi scenes start. Their attention to detail is quite spot on.

[Fan-Service, Comedy, Romance[/b]

The fan-service for this anime is insane. I can't even begin explaining all of the fan-service, there is just so much. They get so creative too. We even have the MC getting noticeable erections, no bloody nose from this protagonist.

The comedy is pretty eh. The best parts usually involve either the teacher or the parents. Everything else is eh.

Besides for the last scene, the romance is terrible. The girls like him way to quickly, but the harem does a good job of making me clueless as to whom he will pick. Harem route maybe?

Overall

Yeah, if you don't like, no wait, love fan-service, then do not watch this show. You will not enjoy it, you'll most likely hate it, and you'll think you just wasted a couple hours of your life. I would say you need to watch the ending animation though, as it is awesome... screw it. I'm posting it at the end of the review.

Final Score(non-fan-service fan): 2/10
Fan-service fan: 7/10.

My next review will be either of My Little Sister Can't be this Cute! or Is This a Zombie?
