Weird Dreams. Insanely hard game where you have gone into a coma on the operating table and just have to wake up.

The thing is...your nightmares are becoming real...and one touch from the Desert Fish, The Frozen Chicken, The Carnivorous Roses and dit...dit...deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Darkseed as well. Especially as it's based on H.R. Giger's art.

Wicked. Where you are the Forces of Light battling the Forces of Darkness across the Constellations with only the Tarot to help.

I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream.

Personal Nightmare, The HitchHikers Guide to the Galaxy, The Monty Python Game, Elvira 1/2, Waxworks...

Probably will think of more later.
Darkseed was... strange. You're right though, the artwork in that game was amazing.

The weird game where you play as a demented Alice in Wonderland and everything is insane. Forget the name of the game though.
It was Alice

Play the first Condemned

The first DOOM. If that doesn't suffice, just watch 2001: A Space Odyssey on a plasma TV.

The CHZO mythos games. Don't bother with the Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth, its just an FPS starring a man whose sanity has the strength of dry sauerkraut. The CHZO mythos is truly terrifying

Metal Gear Solid. The second one alone will kill your brain. They straightened it out by the fourth one but. . . well you were not there for the years after the second one came out and even now there are people who are just lost. I mean it all does make sense but . . . you know what, just play the game, it will all make sense. (or not)

Edit: Don't skip to the fourth one. Play them in order.
No, mix up the order; the mind-fuckery will be more intense.

Condemned series for scary mindfuck (and FEAR, even though I haven't played it yet) Max Payne 1 fucks with you during the nightmare sections. Oh, and Project Zero can kinda fuck with you, but it's debatable whether it's a "mindfuck".
American McGee's Alice is pretty odd to, but in a non scary way.

And then there's WarioWare

Yeah The Suffering was a pretty good one. Silent hill is pretty good too, but the movie messes with your mind more than the game since it completely deviates from the storyline.

Gregory Horror Show Soul Collector was also supposed to be good. I haven't actually played it but I've seen it played.

I saw a game on Newgrounds called "Alice is Dead-ep. 1". Total. Mind F. Sort of like that Alice game one guy mentioned, but more morbid and spooky then demented and wacky.

Rule of Rose. Definitely. I love the game and it's really got a great story once you piece it together but playing through it the first time? Definitely screws with your head.

And I agree with Metal Gear Solid 2. Great game but very screwy.

Oh god, what was that Gamecube game again?
Eternal Darkness. Awesome. Oh, and American McGee's Alice. If you can get your hands on it, that is.

Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem (GCN)
this. I had a lot of weird dreams from this game.
This is what I thought of when I saw this thread. Eternal Darkness's sanity effects were thoroughly hair raising, especially if you are a veteran of the horror genre. Sure, the undead, a storyline similar to that of Cthulhu Mythos, and a very impressive atmosphere are apparent, but what's really gonna fuck you up? A terrifyingly difficult boss battle with the bane of your existence (really, he is), or the monitor suddenly saying that your controller port is empty and that the controller has been yanked out during said battle. That or that your memory card is corrupt.

Either Eternal Darkness or most of the Silent Hill series. 'Nuff said.
I've decided i know love you three guys just for mentioning eternal darkness : sanitys requiem its one of the most mind bendiest games i've every played. i can genuinely say that its the only game ive played every that made me wee m self of several occasions

Metal Gear 2 if it is to be believed that Raiden could pull off all of that then that has to be the greatest mind fuck ever created

I can still remember that one mind fuck bit where you see ants crawling all over the screen and me automatically yanking my feet up from the floor.
