Yes, we've had threads about people's avatars, desktop backgrounds, Firefox banners (I assume), and so on. So now here's something new and original (yeah, right) to consider. After getting a part-time job I basically went on a mild spending spree last week, something I've never been able to do at university until now. And ended up buying a total of nine, yes, NINE, different (and massive) posters for my bedroom wall. So what I want people to do is post what posters they have, then tell us a little bit about why they have that poster (did it just look cool? Did it come free with something you bought? Did you just go nuts when a student union poster sale came around, like I did?

Regarding these, I just really love those particular music artists, especially Florence and the Machine, and I really like gothic art. Cute girls and gothic stylings are a major weakness of mine .

I have 4 FF7 Flags, one character per flag (Aeris, Tifa, Cloud, Sephiroth), A slayer poster, an Unholy Alliance poster, A warcraft 3 Reign of Chaos poster.

Right now, I don't have a room of my own so I don't have anything that's 'mine' on the walls.

Before I moved, though, I had a limited-edition Metal Gear Solid 4 drawing signed by Yoji Shinkawa himself (it came with my special edition MGS4 guide). I gave it to my brother when I came out here.

Miss that picture. It was beautiful.

Aside from that, I also have 3 NASCAR posters, a Nissan 350Z poster, and a poster of the Red Sox receiving the 2004 World Series Champion rings.

I'm not a huge NASCAR or Baseball fan, though. Don't really like the 350Z either.

As of now I have zero posters adorning my walls, and haven't had any in over three years. However, back when I lived at my dad's house I had several Colorado Avalanche and FFVII posters, pictures, and banners decorating the walls of my room. In my bedroom I have my Red Dead Redemption poster that came with the game, a large God of War 3 poster that looks like the cover of the Limited Edition of the game, a Children of Bodom poster, a Fight Club poster and a poster of Homer Simpson rocking the fuck out with a guitar.

- An Assassin's Creed poster with Altiar
- A Super Mario poster with a bunch of characters
- A Justice League poster showing the team from the poster, and all previous incarnations.
- A poster showing a bunch of Marvel Heroes
- A poster called "e-COW-nomics", a humorous poster showing business and economic models, all starting the explination with "You have two cows".
- "Everything I Know in Life, I Learned from Monty Python", a poster with a bunch of jokes from Monty Python.
- A poster of Homer Simpson saying "To Alcohol! The cause of - and solution to - all of life's problems."

I also currently have a Star Wars Episode III poster of some of the Jedi (with my Emperor Palpatine life-size cut out), a poster I got with the Spore game guide, a poster detailing the anatomy of a stomp, and a poster from the Dark Crusade (way back in 2006, remember 40k fans?) with a bunch of models on it. Although I'm thinking about taking down some and replace them with some new ones.

I only have one poster, and it's a picture of the cockpit instruments of a Beechcraft 1900D. I am sort of an aviation nerd.

Right now I have a Godfather poster, a V for Vendetta poster, an Edmonton Indy Poster (because I've worked there, filming, for two years, and been once before), and a gigantic pirate flag.

I also have a Beatles: Let it Be poster, but I want to replace it with my Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back poster, as soon as I can find a frame.
