Hi Escapees, I'm thinking of upgrading the graphics card on my computer for gaming, but I have no idea about what's good and what's bad. I was wondering if you guys/girls could suggest a good video card to get. Preferably, I'm looking for a graphics card that:

1) Is from a fairly reputable company <-- I don't know any so I'm stuck there :S
2) Has a dedicated cooling system so it doesn't overheat
3) Is priced at a reasonable cost (no more than $250 AU)

The problem with my current video card is that it operates idly at 90 degrees C, which I believe is far too high. It also causes my computer to crash periodically, and this is especially infuriating when I'm gaming. I currently have an ATI Radeon HD 5700 by the way, which is apparently really good, but I am willing to give up quality for consistency. Thanks in advance :D

90 degrees at IDLE? Holy shit, my gtx480 only hits that under heavy load. Any chance you have a warranty on that thing?
