So after hearing about Tara Strong is now voicing harley Quinn in the new batman game i looked her up on her wikipedia page and found out that she has done some voices from old cartoons and games that i liked when i was younger but then i look at the bottom and find. 2013 / Jak and Daxter: The Eclipse Dark. What is this does any body here know what this is about.

I don't know anything about it personally, but I shall be watching this thread with great interest in the hopes that someone else does.

I was always more of a Ratchet and Clank man, myself.

Hearing the word 'precurser' over and over sounded weird to me...
You and me both.

I played Jak & Daxter (the first game) to see what the fuss was about and only completed it for the sake of completing it. Couldn't really get into it, which is kinda strange since it's basically the same thing as R&C, albeit differing scenarios.

A new J&D would make me a very happy person, those games raised me. I just hope Naughty Dog is handling this one themselves.

The first game isn't like the other two. Both of them are more fun with a better story.

I'm sure they are, but unfortunately, if the first game doesn't capture me, why would I like the sequels? If the original game puts me off, then sequels with the same characters would just make me think back to my lack of enjoyment of the first game and I'd just end up disliking them for what they contain, not themselves as a game.

Its not really like that though. I never touched the first game until after I'd beat the second and third several times, and the story still made sense. The first game is really just a prequel to me.

Anyway, you might like the second and third but not like the first. The games have completely different styles, combat, and tones.
