I take Baths due to the fact that i have a rather nasty soft-tissue injury in my lower back, the hot water helps relax the muscles, and i always shower off afterwards. I don't take baths to get clean, i take them to relax and soothe pains. I take showers when i need to get clean.

I take baths whenever I can, which is in fact very rare (because the bathtub at my place is too small, so I can only take one at my brother's). They are very relaxing.

I prefer baths to showers, but I generally take showers because of time constraints. Generally I follow up a bath with a shower to make sure I'm completely clean though.

Additionally, I like to keep a fresh towel within reach (from lying down), to dry my hands, so that I can read/change music/play handheld game systems while I bathe.

Uh... I usually end up taking shower-baths... which are showers that lead up to taking a bath with the shower still on...

("I think I need to check to make sure nothing's clogging up my bathtub/shower combo..." I told myself a few months ago...)

I haven't taken one in a few years. Since I shower usually on the morning, I don't have much time to take a bath. I can see the appeal of taking a bath after a long day to relax, I just have other things I could do besides sitting in a tub for a while to unwind after school/work.

I used to take baths, but I got out of the habit of it and can't stand it now. Showers for me.

Showers for cleaning, easily.

But when I want to relax, or treat some muscle soreness, bath bath bath! Grab a nice book, maybe some snacks and a beer or water, and just disappear into fiction for a while. So nice.

Of course, without a book, bathing is borrrringggg so I can understand all the anti-bath sentiments on that front.

Not to get clean, I prefer a shower. However if I am super sore, I do not mind taking a long soak in a very hot tub to relax the muscles.

I love to take baths, but... they are not efficient. It takes a lot of time, water and energy to fill a bathtub. besides, im tall - so i have yet to see a bathtub my size.
The last time i took a bath was a couple of years ago, it was some kind of resort for old people.

So... if all the cons are eliminated, i would love to take a bath, but less as an alternative to shower, and more as relaxation.

im surprised people wouldnt like baths. then again, i love being in water, guess not everyone does.

I like baths.
I don't have a bathtub, but if I did, I'd use the shit out of it.
It's a form of guilty pleasure, though, since I couldn't possible mentally overcome sitting in a bathtub filled with dirty water from my body. So if, potentially, I had a bathtub, I'd make sure to take a shower first and clean up that way.

I'm not a fan of baths. They take too long and I have yet to find a bathtub that I can fit in. Showers are quicker, more convenient, more hygienic (you know, what bathing is MEANT to be) and use less water.

Shower.

Baths take far too much time and, frankly, I have better ways to waste said time. That and I'm just not into the idea of lounging around in my own soup.

Now, throw a female into that bath with me and I'll be much more open to the idea. Hell, I'll even add bubbles.

Yep. Not often, because it's time consuming, but sometimes. It's just kind of nice. You can also read while there, among other things.

LADIES.

Yeah I don't know, but, sure.

EDIT:
Also, I wouldn't substitute showers for baths. Different purposes and all that junk.

I used to have an occasional me-soup, usually only when I was sick or something though. However, we got rid of our tub for a larger shower now, so it's all showers for me for the foreseeable future.

I always, always shower.

Sometimes though, I'll lay down in the tub while I shower for all the benefits of a bath without having to wait for the tub to fill before I get in.
