I unlocked the "If They Came to Hear Me Beg" achievement on Halo: Reach for my room mate after he had been trying for 2 hours to get it. Took me 5 attempts.
Haha this took me an hour. My proudest achievement is probably the Platinum trophy for Uncharted 2. Not a great challenge but I adored the game so the reward was all the sweeter for it.

I dunno about any specific achievement, but getting all 1550 points in Fallout 3 was a good moment for me.
Same here, except there was one achievement that I didn't get in that game. I believe it was the one to find all the alien recordings in Mothership Zeta. And I would have gotten that, if the game hadn't glitched and prevented me from backtracking.

Getting all the achievements in Eternal Sonata because it is a complete ***** to do. It was also my first game to get 1000/1000 so I was happy I actually had the dedication to wade through that nightmare.

Legendary solo/co-op on Halo:Reach.

Also finishing hard mode on Blur. It wasn't hard really, just did it to annoy my friend who said i couldn't do it.

Escorting the gnome through the majority of Half-Life 2:Episode 2. So frustrating.

Also killing someone with a toilet on Half-Life 2. Love that achievement.

"Diamond in the rough" from guitar hero van halen. Five star every Van Halen song on expert vocals. Took me ten months of off and on attempts to get it.

It's not a very good one, but probably beating DMD mode in Devil May Cry 4. That, or beating Bloody Palace. I wish it was something more interesting than beating a game on the highest difficulty, but there you go. DMC3 was harder too.

Gears of War 2
Veteran Gear 75G: Reach Level 100 online.

I got that back before all the stupid 20x EXP events, it meant something back then.

Guitar Hero 3
Guitar Hero: 5 Star all setlist songs on expert.
Shit that was hard.

Too Human
Relics of a Forgotten Past
Description: Complete a 7-Piece Elite Armor suit.

I'm proud not to have it, considering it would take upwards of 20 hours of grinding on a bad game. I'm already ashamed I have all other achievements for it.

It was probably this game that turned me off achievement farming.

Platinum Artist
Finished the Endless Setlist 2 in World Tour on Expert Drums
sweet, I got "bladder of Steel" beat the endless setlist 2 without pausing or failing (Expert Guitar)
would do drums but I can't beat Visions!!!!!

OT: I'm proudest of the "Grim Reaper" achievement in Dragon Age Origins. according to some achievement website I looked at I was the third person in the world to get it

like I sand, According to some achievement website...I even forgot what it was called,
so, it's probably not accurate but still it was a boost to my ego.

Mine would be "Easiest Acheivement Ever" from The Simpsons game. Yeah, it was just pressing start to begin a game, but for some reason the sheer fact they were taking the piss out of achievements had me laughing for a good five minutes.

Does setting a world record count as an achievement? Because I have video game world records. Rampage: World Tour high score, River City Ransom TAS fastest time [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=laJpui8m6yw], Tom and Jerry GB TAS fastest time.

Finish the game firing exactly one bullet. Grenade, crowbar, rocket, and Gravity Gun kills are okay!
First try after the game was updated, without dying. I've also gotten Little Rocket Man, and Get Some Grub.

Stepping away from the damn xbox! That is hard! I owned Fallout 3, Mass Effect 2, Assassin's Creed 2 and I still made it to all (read: most) of my classes!

Easy. In Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World: The Game, you had to defeat both Katayanagi Twins at the same time. Did it completely on accident.
