Well if you remember loads of big games like mass effect 2 and bioshock 2 were held back so they weren't competing with MW2 unlike this time when you have Halo reach and Medal of honour viaing for multilayer slots so i would be surprised also mw2 totally spiced up what was good in MW and they did a good job they covered what people liked so whats the new innovation that will pull in gamers this time

I think how well Black Ops sells depends on a few things. First and foremost Metal of Honor is it's main competition. If it is good, it may make a few people reconsider buying another CoD. Halo: Reach will also be a factor, but only on Xbox. Plus two months is some decent breathing room. So I understand if Black Ops isn't too worried about that.
