Looks like more layoffs coming to Activision Blizzard, which sucks but makes at least some sense this time considering they are not able to really have big e-sport events. If you have people working that can't do anything, not much reason to have them around I suppose. Maybe those people will be given the chance to come back once events can ramp back up again.

I wonder what percentage of Bobby Kotick's earnings those employees' salaries make up, and why he should have that money instead of them?
Bobby needs that money dood, he really does....to pay his bills, the phone bill, the internet bill, the power bill....

Well, at least we know that eSports have "hit the big time", because now they're exactly like any other sports league.
Yeah, athletes sexually abusing their position, corruption, cheating, scandals of judges being paid off, management putting players through grueling training more designed to test loyalty than improve skills, rampant sexism and racism, and dropping players like a hot plate of shit the second they aren't profitable or have mental health issues.
Yeah...yeah that's professional sports alright.

It's everything they've always dreamt of....except the paydays are much smaller.

Here's hoping this leads to the remission of esports leagues and their toxic, abusive sense of competition and exploitations.
If this does cause eSports to crash and burn then boy do we owe these guys for taking one for the team.

Airbrush the devil horns off all the internet photos before his potential dates see them.....because apparently Bobby feels the photoshopped Devil Horns scare off potential girlfriends and that makes him sad.

And if he rips out so many millions and beggars his company with underinvestment, he can always flog the remains to Tencent for another payday.
