Well, great minds think alike.

Probably better suited? Yesterday's lunch would probably be better suited to the job, anything with a pulse would definatly be better than him.Glademaster said:Or you know fire him for someone who is probably better suited to the job and doesn't have a vendetta against the poor guy in the PR department.Xzi said:You want people to think that Activision is humble? Tell Kotick to shut the fuck up. That would solve that problem. Want to fix all of Activision's other problems in one fell swoop? Take away Kotick's ability to make business decisions.

Well not really as they would be pulling a lot more money if they didn't have some twat fucking with the PR and someone who actually knew what they were doing. This is a creative industry and as such you can only milk a series so much before it becomes stale and shit leading to less sustainable profit. Right now they are over farming their land and in awhile the land will become infertile.Andronicus said:The problem is, Kotick's decisions makes Activision A LOT OF MONEY. Actually the most amusing tidbit is found on the actiblizz investor pages, on the 8th slide it actually breaks down the revenues by what company is responsible for it. It shows that for this quarter Activison was responsible for generating $314 million in net revenue while Blizzard responsible for $481 million in net revenue. So things aren't to bad in the revenue side with both parties being roughly equal.Andronicus said:The problem is, Kotick's decisions makes Activision A LOT OF MONEY. Very true like what Shamus Young said " If all you want is for Activision-Blizzard to make money - any money - then they could fire Kotick and hire a desk lamp, because Blizzard was an unstoppable cash-generating dynamo before Kotick ever sat down in the CEO chair."TheGuy(wantstobe) said:Actually the most amusing tidbit is found on the actiblizz investor pages, on the 8th slide it actually breaks down the revenues by what company is responsible for it. As for net income well that tells a different story alltogether. Activision looks even worse with it's side side posting a net loss of of $43 million with blizzard posting a net gain of $246 million. When you look at the gains for the 9 months the picture becomes even more distorted in terms of income (revenue stays roughly equal again for the nine months with only a 100 million difference in Blizzard's favour) with Actision posting an $88 million loss on revenue of $983 million while Blizzard posts $546 million in net income on revenue of $1,086 million.
Bobby was great for making money in the short term bit as seen here he has ruined long term viability of Activision side of ActiBlizz.

Yeah, but someone with an ego problem would totally say that!Activision said:We don't have an ego problem.
After saying they were Bungie's only choice of all the game companies... yeah, sure, no big ego problem there.Woodsey said:***Most awesome picture of Kotick Evar!***
